Mathstime – Private Maths tuition for children in Key Stages one, two and three.

Welcome to the website of Perminder Virdee. With over twenty years experience, covering all year groups, Mathstime offers personalised one-one tutoring in Numeracy for chidren in Key stages one and two – all aligned to the UK National Curriculum. Perminder offers private tuition, assessments, homework and maths support for children, as well as guidence for their parents/carers on how they can help their child at home.

Having taught children in Upper Key Stage 2, Perminder is now able to continue one to one tutoring for Secondary school students, taking them to GCSE level. Working closely with students and using resources taken from different schools Mathstime has become familiar with the KS3 curriculum and has helped to prepare children for both Foundation and Higher paper GCSE.

There is plenty of support she can give your child, whether its preparing for tests or exams or reinforcing school work. She will develop a personalised programme of Maths tutoring for your child. Perminder will teach her students how to use various skills and methods to work out calculations and word problems. She will also support children in developing a good understanding of the various vocabulary used in Maths’. Perminder will make sure that your child has a good command of the basics, this is work that can supplement your child’s learning where that is necessary.
