Perminder started tutoring my daughter half way during year 4, as she was struggling with basic multiplication and division. Within a short space of time my daughter had picked up all the skills Perminder had taught her and she began to enjoy maths! Perminder went onto tutor my daughter for her SATS exams, where she achieved high marks and entered into the top set class at our local secondary school.

As my daughter and Perminder got on so well, we continued with maths tutoring into secondary school and finally for GCSE's. My daughter did the higher maths paper and achieved a grade 8.

I can't thank Perminder enough for all her years of support and utter patience! She has a wonderful connection with the kids and teaches them maths methods, that are simple and easy to remember, which helps children in the classroom to become confident in maths and more importantly enjoy it!

The lessons would start with a mental starter and during the lesson we would play a maths related game which made the lessons fun! My son James has been tutored by Perminder Virdee of Mathstime Professional Tutoring since Year 8. James has an EHCP Plan at school and has always particularly struggled with Maths. Thank goodness we found Perminder, she really understands our child's needs and the goals to set. The lessons are tailored to push that bit further, but not so our child feels overwhelmed. For the past year we have noticed a huge change in our daughters attitude to maths. Although not her favourite subject, Perminder has given her the confidence to see that she can do the work and strives to getter better. Perminder always has time to discuss lessons and to also explain the teaching methods for us old ones who do not have a clue. When they say "don't give up your day job" thank goodness Perminder did as a teacher to tutor and give other children the opportunity of her teaching skills.
